Description
The Wilwood Combination Adjustable Proportioning Valve is a high-performance block designed to simplify the mounting, plumbing, and wiring of custom brake systems. By integrating a proportioning valve with a distribution block, it maintains full isolation between the front and rear fluid circuits while providing a clean, professional appearance under the hood.
Key Features & Design
Precision Bias Tuning: The rear circuit includes an adjustable proportioning valve, allowing you to fine-tune the pressure delivered to the rear wheels to prevent premature lockup and improve stopping distances.
Dual Circuit Security: Designed to work with any tandem outlet or dual-mount master cylinder, keeping the front and rear systems completely independent for safety.
Flexible Front Plumbing: The front circuit features a single inlet and two outlets. This allows you to run dedicated lines directly to each front caliper, or you can plug one outlet if your setup uses a single line to a "T" fitting.
Integrated Light Switch: Includes a dedicated port for a brake light pressure switch, simplifying your vehicle's electrical integration.
Technical Specifications & Fitting Sizes
To ensure a leak-free installation, the block utilizes the following industry-standard connections:
Fluid Port Threads: All primary inlets and outlets use 3/8-24 Inverted Flare fittings. This is the standard size for 3/16" brake lines.
Switch Port: The brake light switch port is threaded for a 1/8-27 NPT pressure switch.
Finish Options: Available in a durable Black E-coat, Polished, or a Blue/Red Anodized finish to suit your engine bay's aesthetic.
