The Specialty Power Windows (SPW) Universal Four Window Power Window Kit (Power Wonder-Lift) is a turnkey cable-driven conversion package engineered to modernize four-door sedans, wagons, dual-cab trucks, and restomods from manual crank handles to full electric operation. Requiring just 8-1/2 inches of internal clearance beneath the glass, this system utilizes SPW’s floating coined and slotted tube architecture across all four doors, allowing the regulators to self-align along curved channels and prevent motor binding.

• Self-Adjusting Floating Tube Design: Incorporates SPW's patented floating coined and slotted metal guide tubes across all four assemblies. This geometry allows the drive mechanisms to flex and track naturally along non-linear glass runs and irregular door inner structures without binding or premature motor fatigue.

Installation & System Notes

• Glass Bedding & Attachment: Clean the lower edge of all four pieces of window glass thoroughly before seating them into the supplied lower glass channels. Use professional glass setting tape or high-strength urethane adhesive, ensuring each piece of glass sits completely level across the channel base.

• Door Jamb Conduit Geometry: When installing the four flexible stainless steel conduits, drill offset/staggered holes between the pillar and the door jamb. This forces the conduit into a smooth "S-curve" upon closing, preventing wire pinching or fatigue over time.

• Run Channel Preparation: Verify that all felt or rubber perimeter run channels in all four doors are clean, aligned, and treated with dry silicone spray to reduce unnecessary mechanical drag on the electric motors.

• Pre-Upholstery Cycling: Connect the harness and run each window through several complete cycles using a shop battery or jump box before installing water shields, vapor barriers, and interior door panels to confirm glass stops and switch operation.
