The Machined Billet Aluminum Striker Block Upgrade is the perfect finishing touch for 1967–1972 Chevy and GMC owners who want to elevate the door jamb aesthetics of their "Action Line" truck. While the standard Altman Easy Latch kit includes functional steel plates, these billet blocks provide a high-end, custom look that matches the quality of a show-level restoration or a modern pro-touring build.
Premium Visual Upgrade
These blocks replace the standard steel striker plates provided in the base 1967–1972 C10/GMC Altman Easy Latch kit:

Installation & Hardware
Stainless Steel Mounting Bolts: The kit includes high-strength stainless steel mounting hardware to secure the blocks to your truck’s B-pillars.
Hardware Note:Striker bolts are not included in this upgrade kit. You will use the specialized stainless steel striker bolts already provided in your 1967–1972 Altman Easy Latch kit.
Direct Replacement: No additional drilling or modification is required; these blocks are designed to swap directly with the original Altman steel plates.
Compatibility
Vehicle Fitment: Designed exclusively for 1967–1972 Chevrolet and GMC trucks equipped with Altman Easy Latches.
Requirement: You must already have (or be currently installing) the Altman Easy Latch kit, as these blocks rely on the latch-specific striker pins for operation.

With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted

Payment processing fees (including PayPal, Amazon Pay, or other merchant fees) are non-refundable
It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund
