Meeting strict federal safety standards, this harness upgrades lap-only or unbelted vintage interiors to modern three-point retractable lap-and-shoulder protection.

Retrofitting modern shoulder harnesses into classic vehicles can present fitment challenges—especially with bench seats, where rigid buckle stalks interfere with seat cushion movement or passenger placement.
Julianos addresses this by pairing an Emergency Locking Retractor (ELR) with a 20-inch soft-arm flexible webbing buckle, allowing the buckle to conform neatly against bench seat cushions without binding.
The internal inertia retractor locks automatically upon sudden deceleration or severe impact, ensuring driver and passenger restraint while allowing free movement during normal driving conditions.

Installation & Anchoring Recommendations
B-Pillar Shoulder Anchor: For correct geometry and occupant safety, the upper shoulder loop must be securely anchored to the B-pillar or reinforced body frame rail above shoulder height using the included Grade-8 hardware and reinforcement backing plates.
Floor Pan Reinforcement: When mounting retractor reels and lower belt anchors to original sheet metal floorboards, always install the supplied heavy-duty steel backing plates beneath the floor pan to prevent bolt pull-through in an impact.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
