This #6 Rubber Standard Barrier A/C Hose is a premium, bulk automotive plumbing solution designed for custom climate control installations, fleet maintenance, and street rod restomods. Sold continuously by the linear foot, ordering bulk hose allows you to cut the exact lengths needed for your vehicle's specific layout, minimizing waste and eliminating unnecessary inline splice connectors.
In mobile air conditioning networks, #6 hose is universally utilized on the liquid / high-pressure side of the loop, typically carrying liquid refrigerant from the condenser outlet to the drier, and from the drier to the expansion valve or orifice tube.
Advanced Multi-Layer Polyamide Barrier Technology
Multi-Refrigerant Shield: Engineered with a specialized internal nylon/polyamide barrier layer sandwiched securely between two heavy-duty elastomeric rubber compounds. This advanced architecture delivers excellent low effusion rates, making it fully compatible with traditional R12, modern R134a, and eco-friendly R1234yf refrigerants.
Moisture Ingress Protection: Formulated with an improved synthetic outer rubber cover that aggressively minimizes environmental moisture ingression. This prevents the formation of highly destructive acids inside the loop that can score compressor pistons and ruin delicate expansion valves.
Extreme Thermal Band: Specially stabilized to maintain physical elasticity and performance across harsh automotive under-hood environments ranging from -40°F (-40°C) up to continuous working temperatures of 275°F (135°C).
Hose Dimensional Blueprint
⚠️ Important Sizing Note: Make sure your accessory brackets and routing path can accommodate standard-wall dimensions. This is a Standard Barrier hose featuring a traditional thick-wall profile. It requires standard-size A/C crimping dies and must be paired with matching standard-wall beadlock or barb fittings. It will not seal correctly with compact, thin-wall reduced barrier fittings.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
