The 1940s-Style Narrowed Rear Transverse Leaf Spring for 44-1/2" Spring Perch Centers by Posies (AJ40 Series) is engineered for traditional 1940 Ford-style transverse rear suspensions on early hot rod builds (1928–1934 Model A and 1932–1936 Fords) that utilize narrowed rear axle housings or custom rear end widths requiring a 44-1/2" perch center distance.
This spring combines late-1930s/early-1940s Ford suspension styling with modern ride dynamics and reduced friction.
Series Options & Stance Configurations
The AJ40 series is available in two spring eye configurations depending on desired rear stance:
AJ40NHL (Reversed Eye): Lowers the rear end approximately 2-1/2" below stock height for a sleek hot rod rake while maintaining full suspension travel.
AJ40NHS (Stock Eye): Restores standard factory ride height for builds requiring extra wheel-well ground clearance or custom axle-drop mounts.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
