The 1955–1959 Chevy / GMC Half-Ton SuperSlide Multi-Leaf Rear Drop Springs (Pair) by Posies (Part #447) lowers the rear of 1955 (2nd Series) through 1959 Chevy Task Force / Apache 3100 and GMC 100-series trucks by 3" or more. Engineered to drop directly into factory rear spring hangers and shackles without frame modifications, these springs deliver a clean, level stance while preserving load-handling stability.
Constructed from high-tensile tempered steel, each spring pack incorporates Posies' signature SuperSlide moly-nylon inter-leaf buttons to eliminate metal-to-metal spring friction for a soft, quiet, and smooth ride.

Pre-Installed Bushings: Shipped complete with front and rear spring eye bushings installed for a straightforward frame assembly.
American-Made Quality: Hand-assembled and tour-tested in the USA using premium tempered spring steel.
Bump Stop Clearance: Factory rubber rear frame bump stops must be trimmed down or removed to prevent bottoming out at the lowered ride height.
Shackle Kit Preparation: When ordered alongside Posies #452R shackle kits, the threaded eye bushings are pre-removed at the factory to match the aftermarket shackle hardware.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
