Description
The 1955–1959 Chevy / GMC Half-Ton Dual-Flex Front Leaf Springs (Pair) by Posies (Part #D441) lowers the front end of 1955 (2nd Series) through 1959 Chevy Task Force / Apache 3100 and GMC 100-series trucks by 2-1/2" to 3". Utilizing full-tapered spring steel, these springs replace stiff multi-leaf factory packs or harsh single mono-leaf springs.
By combining a tapered 2-leaf structure with Posies' signature SuperSlide moly-nylon inter-leaf buttons, this system eliminates metal-to-metal spring friction to deliver a softer, quieter, and smoother front suspension ride.

SuperSlide Friction Elimination: Features moly-nylon buttons embedded between leaf tips to prevent metal grinding, rust buildup, and harsh spring slap.
Integrated Bushings: Shipped with front and rear spring eye bushings pre-installed for easier frame mounting.
Included U-Bolt Kit: Comes complete with shorter U-bolts designed specifically for the thinner 2-leaf spring pack stack height.
American-Made Quality: Manufactured and hand-assembled in the USA using high-tensile tempered spring steel.

Installation Notes & Recommendations
Bump Stop Clearance: Factory rubber front bump stops must be trimmed or removed completely to allow adequate suspension travel at the lowered ride height.
Shackle Kit Preparation: When ordered alongside Posies #452R shackle kits, the threaded eye bushings are pre-removed at the factory to match the aftermarket shackle hardware.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
