The 1948–1952 Ford Half-Ton Dual-Flex Front Drop Leaf Springs (Pair) by Posies (Part #D152F) lowers the front end of 1948 through 1952 Ford F-1 (and 1942–1947 Ford) pickups by 2-1/2" to 3". Incorporating full-tapered leaf spring technology, these springs replace stiff original multi-leaf packs or harsh single mono-leaf designs.
By combining a tapered 2-leaf layout with Posies' signature SuperSlide moly-nylon inter-leaf buttons, this system eliminates metal-to-metal spring friction to deliver a softer, quieter, and smoother front suspension ride.

Installation Notes & Recommendations
Bump Stop Clearance: Original rubber front frame bump stops must be trimmed down or removed completely to maintain adequate suspension travel at the lowered stance.
