Description
The 1941–1948 Ford Car Weld-In SuperSlide Parallel Rear Leaf Spring Kit by Posies (Part #8048S) converts early "Fat Fendered" Fords from the stock transverse leaf spring setup to modern parallel rear leaf springs.
The 8048S Single Position Kit mounts the springs directly in line with and under the bottom of the frame rails.It provides a moderate, fixed lowered stance that sits slightly higher than Posies' 4-position adjustable kit, making it ideal for pairing with a front reverse eye spring or an Independent Front Suspension (IFS) using standard height spindles.

Model Compatibility:Fits 1941, 1942, 1946, 1947, and 1948 Ford passenger cars (Super Deluxe, Deluxe, Tudor, Fordor, Coupe, Convertible).
Single-Position Stance Alignment:Centers the rear wheels perfectly in the fender openings while lowering the rear profile for a clean hot rod stance.
Under-Frame Mounting:Welds directly in line along the bottom flange of the factory frame rails.
SuperSlide Inter-Leaf Technology: Features Posies' moly-nylon inter-leaf buttons to eliminate leaf-on-leaf friction, squeaks, and binding.
Driveline Requirement:Open driveline required. Compatible only with modern open-driveline rear end swaps (e.g., Ford 8", Ford 9", GM 10/12-bolt); will not work with original torque tube driveshafts.

Damages and Issues

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
