The 1942–1948 Ford Car SuperSlide Rear Transverse Leaf Spring (Part #R46L / #R46S) by Posies is engineered specifically for traditional hot rods and customs retaining a transverse rear suspension layout.
Designed to fit rear axle setups with 47-1/2" perch centers, this low reverse-eye leaf pack lowers the rear end of 1942–1948 Ford passenger cars approximately 2-1/2" below stock height while maintaining proper suspension travel and load capability.

Installation Notes & Clearance Requirements
Frame Clearance Warning: Due to the ultra-low arch profile, frame "C" notching or crossmember clearancing is required on low setups to ensure full suspension travel.
Wishbone Alignment:If using split rear radius rods or wishbones, the perch ends must be aligned so that spring perches sit at right angles to the axle and remain parallel to the spring eyes.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
