The 1935–1940 Ford Car / 1935–1941 Ford Truck SuperSlide Front Leaf Spring (#2036 Series) by Posies is designed for transverse front suspension configurations utilizing modified stock or split wishbones with 40-1/2" perch centers (measured center-to-center across the axle wishbone perches).
Engineered to replace stiff or fatigued factory steel leaf packs, this multi-leaf front spring balances classic Hot Rod styling with modern ride quality for mid-to-late 1930s Ford builds.
Spring Eye & Stance Options
The #2036 series offers two distinct spring eye configurations depending on desired front ride height:
Reversed Eye: Lowers the front end approximately 2-1/2" below stock height for an aggressive street rod stance while maintaining proper suspension travel.
Stock Eye: Maintains traditional OEM ride height for builds requiring standard ground clearance or custom dropped axles.

Installation Notes & Recommendations
Perch Measurement Verification: Always double-check center-to-center perch distance on your split wishbone or 4-bar setup prior to ordering to ensure exact shackle alignment and spring eye geometry.
Love it ! Much better quality than the cheap offshore version I had. Now it sits perfect and is much softer. The old spring set was hard as a rock, sat too low and I didn’t trust that it wouldn’t start sagging. I will go with Posies from now on.

Damages and Issues
