The #1025 series features a 35-1/2" eye-to-eye measurement, designed specifically for:
Over-the-Axle Installation: Pair with 1942–1948 Ford front axles (which feature a wider 40-1/2" perch boss distance) when installed in 1928–1934 Ford chassis.
Behind-the-Axle Installation: Pair with a standard 38-1/2" spring perch distance when building a spring-behind-the-axle front end configuration.
1025 Series Stance & Spring Rate Configurations
Posies offers the #1025 front spring in three distinct eye and load-rate options to match your vehicle weight and target front stance:
Reversed Eye (P/N 1025): The most popular choice for lighter builds (Roadsters, Coupe highboys, Speedsters) or fendered cars needing a lower front profile without tire or fender contact. Features 3-1/4" free arch for a lowered front stance.
Stock Eye (P/N 1025S): Preserves standard front ride height with 4-1/4" free arch. Ideal for traditional restorations, high-clearance builds, or setups requiring additional oil pan and ground clearance.
Reversed Eye Heavy (P/N 1025H): Specifically valved and stiffened for small block V8 (SBC/SBF) engine conversions. Because of the wider 1942–48 axle perch span, the 1025H provides the correct spring rate to support additional engine weight while retaining a lowered reversed-eye stance.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
