The 1928–1934 Ford Car SuperSlide Front Leaf Spring for 33-1/2" Spring Perch Centers by Posies (#1009 Series) is an industry-standard front transverse leaf spring engineered for traditional Ford hot rod front suspension setups. Built to optimize ride compliance, reduce friction, and deliver precise stance tuning, this series is designed specifically for builds using 1937–1941 Ford front axles (or aftermarket beam/dropped axles with matching perch dimensions).

The #1009 series features a 33-1/2" eye-to-eye measurement, designed specifically for:
Over-the-Axle Installation: Pair with 1937–1941 Ford front axles (which feature a 38-1/2" perch boss center distance) mounted in 1928–1934 Ford chassis.
Behind-the-Axle Installation: Pair with a 36-1/2" spring perch distance when building a spring-behind-the-axle front end setup.
1009 Series Stance & Spring Rate Configurations
Posies offers the #1009 front spring in four distinct eye and spring rate options to match your vehicle's engine weight, body style, and desired ground clearance:
Reversed Eye (P/N 1009): The standard choice for small block V8 (SBC/SBF) engines and fendered street rods. Features 3-1/4" free arch, lowering the front end without fender or tire interference.
Low Reversed Eye (P/N 1009L): Lowers the front end an additional 1" lower than the standard reversed eye spring (featuring 2-1/4" free arch). Engineered as the lowest-riding multi-leaf spring available for highboys and fenderless hot rods. (Note: Frame notch above the spring is required for clearance).
Stock Eye (P/N 1009S): Features 4-1/4" free arch to preserve traditional factory ride height or provide extra oil pan and ground clearance.
Reversed Eye Heavy (P/N 1009H): Utilizes the standard reversed eye geometry but with an increased spring rate specifically engineered for heavy front end applications (Big Block V8s, Supercharged/Blown engines, or Chrysler Hemis).

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
