Standard 3.5" or 4.0" body mufflers can restrict exhaust gas volume on modified high-output engines. Porter solves this by upgrading the outer body to a heavy-duty 5.00" outer diameter casing. This enlarged internal volume allows exhaust gases to expand and flow freely through the central core while maintaining maximum surface area contact with the sound-dampening packing.
The internal construction utilizes Porter's signature gapped steel spring core surrounded by high-density stainless steel wool packing.
