These Replacement Urethane Shackle Bushings are factory-correct suspension service components designed specifically for traditional hot rod leaf spring setups. Engineered to fit both front buggy-spring and rear parallel or transverse leaf spring shackles from Pete & Jake's, these bushings restore handling precision by eliminating the sloppy, worn-out play that develops in aged suspension pivot points over years of driving.
High-Performance Polyurethane Compounding
Deflection-Resistant Black Urethane: Unlike original-style soft rubber bushings that easily distort, dry-rot, and split under continuous cornering and heavy loads, these are molded from premium high-density polyurethane. This material provides superior tensile strength and abrasion resistance.
Firm Suspension Geometry: The stiffness of urethane minimizes shackle walking and lateral deflection, ensuring your solid axle or drop-axle remains perfectly centered under the frame rails for crisper steering response.
Chemical & Environmental Barrier: Highly resistant to degradation from road salt, ambient moisture, engine oil drips, and chassis grease that routinely break down and dissolve standard rubber components.
Split-Design Fitment Specifications
Two-Piece Flanged Construction: Each order consists of 1 complete bushing assembly split into 2 mirror-image halves. Each flanged half presses smoothly into opposite sides of the spring eye or frame hanger loop, creating an integrated thrust-washer surface that prevents the metal shackle plates from rubbing against the spring steel.
Standard 1/2" Pin Clearance: Designed with a precise 1/2-inch inside diameter (I.D.) bore hole to slip perfectly over standard 1/2" shackle bolts or stepped shackle pins without binding.

🛠️ Installation Pro-Tip: To prevent irritating suspension squeaks and bind-induced friction, always apply a thin layer of high-quality, water-resistant synthetic silicone or marine grease (containing PTFE) to the outside body and inside bore of the urethane halves before pressing them into the spring eyes. Never use petroleum-based chassis grease, as it can swell certain polyurethane formulations over time.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
