The Pete & Jakes 1935–1940 Ford Complete Chassis with Mustang II Front Suspension (Part # 5100) is a fully welded, high-performance replacement frame assembly engineered for classic 1935–1940 Ford coupes, sedans, convertibles, and pickup trucks. Combining an Independent Front Suspension (IFS) with a heavy-duty rear axle and leaf spring setup, this chassis establishes a modern, low-slung stance while drastically improving highway handling and steering precision over original Ford transverse spring frames.

Mustang II Independent Front Suspension: Replaces the rigid original front beam axle with a modern IFS setup featuring tubular control arms, heavy-duty spindles, and standard GM-style front disc brakes for independent wheel movement and smooth steering response.
Engine & Drivetrain Ready: Comes pre-welded with your choice of Chevrolet V8 (SBC/BBC/LS) or Ford V8 (SBF/FE/Modular) engine mounts and matching transmission crossmembers.
Integrated Brake & Pedal Assembly: Includes a frame-mounted brake pedal assembly, master cylinder mounting bracket, and a brand-new dual-reservoir master cylinder for balanced front-to-rear hydraulic braking.
Ford 9-Inch Rear End: Fitted with a classic Ford 9-inch rear axle housing containing rebuilt 3.00 highway gearing, new axle shafts, and brand-new 11-inch rear drum brake assemblies.
Posie Adjustable Rear Suspension: Utilizes Posie’s adjustable parallel leaf spring kit in the rear for smooth riding comfort and easy rear ride-height tuning.

Body Mount Geometry: Frame rails feature factory-located body mounting holes to accept original 1935–1940 Ford steel bodies or aftermarket fiberglass reproduction shells without major body modifications.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

If approved:

Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
