The Pete and Jakes 1932 Ford Power Brake Assembly is a comprehensive solution for hot rodders looking to add modern stopping power to their classic frame. This kit moves the braking system under the floor for a clean engine bay, while the 7" dual-diaphragm booster provides significantly more assist than a standard single-diaphragm unit.
High-Performance Boosting
7" Dual Diaphragm Booster: Despite its compact size (necessary for under-floor clearance), the dual-diaphragm design provides the increased vacuum assist required for heavy vehicles or those equipped with four-wheel disc brakes.
Master Cylinder Included: Comes pre-matched with a dual-reservoir master cylinder, ensuring correct fluid volume and pressure for modern disc/drum or disc/disc setups.
Compact Footprint: Engineered to fit within the narrow confines of a 1932 Ford frame rail without interfering with the transmission or center X-member.
Integration and Hardware
Weld-On Mount: Includes a heavy-duty frame mount designed to be welded directly to the 1932 Ford chassis. This provides a rigid, flex-free platform for the brake pedal and booster assembly.
Brake Pedal: Includes a laser-cut brake pedal arm designed with the correct mechanical leverage ratio to work in harmony with the power booster.
Hardware: The kit typically includes the necessary pushrods and mounting hardware to connect the pedal to the booster.
Installation Note
Because this assembly mounts under the floor, you will likely need to install residual pressure valves (2-lb for disc, 10-lb for drum) to prevent fluid from draining back into the master cylinder, as the master cylinder will be sitting lower than the wheel cylinders/calipers.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
