The Pete and Jakes 1932 Ford Weld-On Motor Mounts are a critical component for builders looking to drop a Small Block Chevy (SBC) into a 1932 Ford chassis. These mounts are designed specifically for boxed frame rails, providing a permanent and high-strength foundation for your engine.
Robust and Simple Design
Chassis Integration: Specifically engineered for fully boxed 1932 Ford frame rails. These mounts are welded directly to the inner side of the boxed rail, ensuring maximum torsional rigidity.
Engine Compatibility: Tailored for the Small Block Chevy platform. They are designed to work in conjunction with standard factory-style rubber motor mounts, which helps isolate engine vibration from the rest of the chassis for a smoother ride.
Perfect Alignment: When positioned correctly on the frame, these mounts set the engine at the ideal height and angle to clear the steering box and firewall while maintaining proper driveline geometry.
Material and Finish
Heavy-Duty Steel: Laser-cut and formed from heavy-gauge steel to handle the torque and weight of high-performance SBC engines.
Weld-Ready: Supplied in bare steel, these mounts come ready to be tacked and then fully welded into position after you've finalized your engine mock-up.
Installation Tips
Mock-Up is Key: It is highly recommended to mock up your engine and transmission together with the body or firewall in place before final welding. This ensures you have the necessary 3/4" to 1" of clearance at the firewall.
Boxing Plates: If you are using an original 1932 frame that has not been boxed, you will need to install boxing plates PNJ 3025 first to provide the structural surface required for these weld-on mounts.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
