Description
It's probably been a few decades since the 90 degree breather has been updated. Our new product has corrected a few short comings in what has been available... #1 - Our breather body has internal baffles to control oil splash. Others provided a piece of foam jammed into the cavity, which gets soaked with oil. You are supposed to periodically change this foam, because it can deteriorate and end up you know where. You have to fish out this yucky foam if you wish to add more oil to the engine... #2 - Our internal baffles and the body cavity, have been designed to fully drain at a backward angle of 45 degrees. This means you can mount the breather, if desired, on the outside of the valve cover. In the past you had to mount a breather on the inside of the valve cover (often a more cluttered area) to avoid a standing pool of oil... #3 - Our cast caps are held in place by inconspicuous set screws in the body just under the cap. No big screws or logos to break up the clean designs that we are known for. You probably aren't being paid to promote someones brand name are you?... #4 - Our cast breather body is CNC machined to have precisely located mounting holes. We have observed products by others to be quite inaccurately machined. If you can drill level holes in your valve cover, our breathers will sit upright... #5 - Our cast breathers are made in the USA of virgin A-356 alloy. They are available in finned or smooth top designs, and in polished (show quality) or unpolished finishes. Gaskets and mounting hardware are included. Dimensions: H. 4-1/4" Cap is 2" x 4"....
