The Allstar Performance Round LS Oil Filter Adapter (P/N ALL92006) is an OE-style replacement insert designed to mount oil filters directly into GM LS-series oil pans.Built from natural steel, it features a round body with an internal hex socket, allowing easy installation with a standard Allen or hex tool.
Product Overview & Application
Early GM LS-series engines (1998–2006/2009) utilize a 20 mm x 1.50 thread pitch in the oil pan casting paired with a 13/16"-16 oil filter thread standard. During engine rebuilds, oil pan swaps, or cleaning, the original factory filter insert is often misplaced or damaged.
The ALL92006 adapter restores factory oil filter mounting geometry, threading securely into the oil pan bypass housing and providing a clean, burr-free threaded nipple for spin-on filters like the standard Fram PH3506 (or equivalent AC Delco / Wix filters).

LS Thread Changeover Notice: GM LS engines transitioned oil filter threads around 2007:
1997/1998–2006 (Early LS):Uses 20 mm x 1.50 pan thread with 13/16"-16 filter thread (ALL92006).
2007–2017 (Late LS / Gen IV):Uses 20 mm x 1.50 pan thread with 22 mm x 1.50 filter thread (requires ALL92005 or M22 adapters).
Installation Torque: Thread the adapter into the oil pan using threadlocker on the pan-side threads, ensuring the unit is torqued firmly to prevent backing out during routine oil filter changes.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
