The Heidts Triangulated 4-Link Kit for the 1928–1931 Ford Model A is a highly popular rear suspension solution for hot rods and restoration-mods. This system provides superior axle control and ride quality compared to original leaf spring setups, making it an essential upgrade for vehicles equipped with modern high-torque engines.
Engineering and Design
Triangulated Geometry: The primary advantage of this design is that the upper bars are angled toward the center of the chassis. This configuration naturally centers the rear axle, eliminating the need for a panhard rod and resulting in a cleaner, less cluttered undercarriage.
Superior Adjustability: The kit features fully adjustable bars, allowing you to fine-tune your pinion angle and wheelbase for perfect drivetrain alignment.
Heavy-Duty Construction: The link bars are constructed from robust 1" x .156-wall tubing to withstand the stresses of performance driving and high-horsepower applications.
Vibration Dampening: Equipped with high-quality urethane bushings, the system provides a firm, responsive feel while significantly reducing the transfer of road noise and vibration to the cabin.

Adjusters: Includes 3/4-inch stainless steel adjusters for maximum corrosion resistance and ease of maintenance over time.
Chassis Brackets: The kit includes both angled and straight chassis brackets to accommodate different mounting requirements on the Model A frame.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
