Precision Handling and Aggressive Stance
The Heidts Pro-G® Full Front Subframe for the 1967–1969 Chevy Camaro is a comprehensive performance solution designed to replace the entire factory front clip. By integrating the Pro-G® suspension geometry, this kit transforms the F-Body into a modern Pro-Touring machine capable of extreme cornering. It is engineered to lower the vehicle by 3 to 4 inches, providing a significantly lower center of gravity and a competition-ready profile.
Engineering and Performance
Direct Bolt-In Replacement: This system is designed to be a straightforward swap. Once the factory sheet metal, engine, and original subframe are removed, the Heidts unit slides into place using existing mounting points, drastically improving structural rigidity over the stock stamped-steel assembly.
Pro-G™ Geometry: Features Heidts' most advanced suspension architecture with optimized camber gain and roll center height. This ensures maximum tire contact during hard cornering and precise, predictable steering feedback.
Aggressive Track Width: Features a 58.5-inch track width, providing a stable, wide stance that accommodates modern performance wheel and tire combinations while maintaining ideal steering geometry.
Modernized Steering: Standardized with a power rack and pinion, this system eliminates the vague feel and "slop" of the original 1960s steering box for a direct, responsive driving experience.
Construction and Features
Custom Control Arms: Includes heavy-duty tubular control arms, available in plain or polished finishes for those prioritizing either a high-performance look or a show-quality engine bay.
Performance Stance: The system comes standard with 2-inch dropped spindles, working in tandem with the subframe design to achieve a 3"–4" total drop while maintaining optimal suspension travel.
Precision Dampening: Equipped with billet adjustable shocks and 10-inch performance springs, allowing for fine-tuning of ride height and valving to suit street or track use.
Standard Sway Bar: This subframe includes a dedicated sway bar as standard equipment to minimize body roll and sharpen handling.

Main Subframe: Full replacement front subframe/crossmember assembly.
Control Arms: Tubular upper and lower arms (Plain or Polished).
Spindles: 2-inch dropped spindles.
Brakes: 11" Wilwood disc brake system.
Steering: Power rack and pinion unit.
Suspension: Billet adjustable coil-over shocks and 10" performance springs.
Motor Mounts: Chevy Small Block motor stands for easy engine installation.
Air Ride Compatibility: The frame can be configured for air shocks. Note: If selecting air ride, the frame rails must be pocketed for proper clearance.
Chassis Strengthening: Optional subframe connectors and a drive shaft loop are available to further increase unibody rigidity and safety.
Mounting Hardware: An optional body mount kit to ensure the new subframe is secured with fresh, high-quality hardware.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
