Achieve superior handling and a lowered stance in your 1964.5–1970 Ford Mustang, or Cougar with this ALL NEW DESIGN, Gen 2 Mustang II Independent Front Suspension (IFS). Designed, engineered, and manufactured by HEIDTS in Lake Zurich, IL USA, this kit is specifically engineered to provide easier installation and excellent component clearance for a wide range of Ford engines, from the early small blocks to the larger FE and Big Block families.
Engine-Specific Fitment
Designed for Traditional Engines: This system includes the PM-320-E-K crossmember, which is optimized for the fitment of early Ford 289, 302, 351W, 351C, 390 (FE), and 4.6L motors, addressing complex header and oil pan clearance issues.
Lowered Stance: Comes standard with 2" Dropped Spindles to immediately give your classic the aggressive stance and improved center of gravity you desire.
Key Performance Features
Superior Geometry: The Gen 2 design significantly improves suspension geometry compared to the factory setup, resulting in better ride quality and predictable handling.
Complete Front End: Includes high-quality Tubular Control Arms and a Manual Rack and Pinion unit standard, ensuring responsive steering (Power Rack is available as an upgrade).
Braking: Features reliable 11" GM Brakes standard, with a Wilwood Upgrade available for enhanced stopping power.
Suspension: Comes complete with Stock or Billet Coil-Over Shocks and Springs.

Note: Be sure to choose the correct crossmember package for your specific engine family (PM-320-E-K for traditional V8s/FE, or PX-320-E-K for Coyote/Mod motors).

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
