The Heidts 4-Link Rear Suspension Kit for the 1962–1967 Chevy Nova is a performance-driven solution designed to replace the factory leaf spring setup. This system provides superior axle control and significantly improved traction, making it an essential upgrade for Nova owners looking to stabilize the rear end under high-horsepower acceleration or aggressive cornering.
Performance and Engineering
Axle Control: By moving from leaf springs to a 4-link system, you eliminate "wheel hop" and spring wrap-up. The geometry of the 4-bar links ensures the axle remains stable and the tires stay planted.
Structural Integration: This kit is designed for maximum chassis rigidity. It includes subframe connectors as standard equipment, which are vital for the early Nova unibody to prevent chassis twist and ensure the suspension works efficiently.
Lateral Stability: To prevent the rear axle from "walking" side-to-side during cornering, the system includes a panhard bar with dedicated chassis and axle mounting brackets.
Adjustable Dampening: The kit features coil-over shocks, providing full control over ride height and stiffness. This allows you to achieve the perfect stance while tailoring the ride quality to your preference.
Construction and Customization
Installation Versatility: This system is available in both Weld-In or Bolt-In options, allowing you to choose the level of permanence and structural integration that fits your project requirements.
Aesthetic Choices: The 4-bar links are available in plain or polished finishes. Additionally, the billet shocks can be ordered in Black, Plain, or Polished to match the look of your undercarriage.
Axle Integration: While the kit can be adapted to your existing axle (requires welding brackets), an optional rear axle housing with brackets pre-installed is available for a much simpler installation process.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
