The Heidts Pro-G® Full Front Subframe for the 1962–1967 Chevy Nova is a true bolt-on masterpiece designed for the serious enthusiast. This system completely replaces the factory front clip with a high-performance subframe that integrates the Pro-G™ suspension package. It is engineered to deliver unbelievable cornering and handling, transforming the early Nova from a legacy cruiser into a modern performance machine capable of dominating the street or the track.
Engineering and Performance
True Bolt-On Installation: This system is designed for a straightforward swap. By unbolting the factory front sheet metal, engine, and original subframe, the new Heidts unit slides into place using factory mounting points, requiring no extensive fabrication to the main unibody.
Pro-G™ Suspension Geometry: Featuring Heidts' most aggressive suspension architecture, this kit provides optimized camber gain and a high-travel design. This ensures the tires maintain a massive contact patch even during extreme cornering maneuvers.
Structural Support: The kit includes support tubes with shims that tie the new subframe back to the firewall. This triangulated reinforcement is vital for handling the increased torsional loads generated by high-performance driving.
Modern Steering: Standardized with a power rack and pinion, this system provides the fast, precise steering feedback required for pro-touring applications, completely eliminating the loose feel of the original steering box.
Construction and Features
Custom Control Arms: Includes high-strength tubular control arms, available in plain or stainless steel for those looking to add a show-quality finish to their engine bay.
Aggressive Stance: The system comes standard with 2-inch dropped spindles, lowering the center of gravity and providing a modern, low-slung profile while maintaining ideal suspension geometry.
Precision Dampening: Equipped with billet adjustable coil-overs and 10-inch springs, allowing you to fine-tune both ride height and stiffness to your specific preference.
Stopping Power: Includes a high-performance 11-inch Wilwood brake kit as standard, ensuring your Nova has the braking capacity to match its new handling capabilities.

Available Options:
Air Ride Compatibility: The frame can be configured for air shocks. Note: If selecting air ride, the frame rails must be pocketed for proper clearance.
Front Sway Bar: An optional addition to further reduce body roll during high-speed cornering.
Inner Fenders: Custom-formed panels to provide a clean, finished appearance in the engine bay.
Transmission Crossmember: An optional stock-replacement unit to ensure your drivetrain remains perfectly aligned with the new subframe.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
