This independent front suspension system is the industry standard for converting vintage Chevys from outdated steering and suspension geometry to a smooth-handling, reliable, and safe driving machine.
Engineering and Construction
Comprehensive Hub-to-Hub Kit: This system includes the custom-engineered crossmember and all components required to fully modernize your front end.
Tubular Control Arms: Features paintable tubular upper and lower A-frame control arms, providing superior strength and a significantly cleaner look than stock components.
Increased Safety: Replaces old drum brakes with 11-inch GM-style disc brakes, ensuring consistent stopping power and modern reliability.
Modern Steering: Replaces the original steering box with a precise manual rack and pinion, eliminating steering wander and improving road feel.
Kit Includes:
Control Arms: Choice of Stock or Narrow tubular control arms to help with wheel-to-fender clearance.
Spindles: Choice of Stock height or 2-inch Dropped spindles for a lowered, custom stance.
Braking: Standard 11" GM Disc Brakes (High-performance Wilwood upgrades are available).
Steering: Manual Rack and Pinion (Power steering rack and pinion is available as an upgrade).
Suspension: Standard Shocks and Springs (Upgrade options include Coil-over shocks or an Air Bag kit).
Hardware: Kit comes complete with spindle nuts, washers, rubber spring cushions, bearings, seals, and all necessary mounting hardware.
Performance Customization
Whether you are building a comfortable long-distance cruiser or a weekend show car, this kit is fully adaptable. You can enhance cornering stability by adding an optional stabilizer (sway) bar or fine-tune your ride quality with various shock and spring rate options to suit your specific engine weight.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
Please note:
Payment processing fees (including PayPal, Amazon Pay, or other merchant fees) are non-refundable
It may take additional time for your bank or credit card provider to process and post the refund
