The Heidts Superide® II IFS System is a premium suspension solution designed for 1935–1940 Ford passenger cars. Engineered to replace outdated factory setups, this system provides the smooth ride quality and precise handling characteristics of a modern cruiser while significantly increasing the market value of the vehicle.
Engineering and Performance
Purpose-Built System: This is a dedicated independent front suspension system, not a Mustang II conversion kit. It is specifically engineered to handle the weight and dimensions of "fat fendered" Fords.
Superior Alignment Stability: The upper control arms utilize threaded adjusters for wheel alignment rather than standard eccentric adjusters. This ensures the car stays in alignment even when encountering significant road bumps, as threaded adjusters cannot "slip."
Advanced Geometry: The system is designed for a low stance with high steerability, featuring built-in anti-dive and zero bumpsteer for predictable, comfortable handling.
Engine Clearance: By utilizing a specific spindle design, Heidts incorporates a front-mount rack and pinion, which opens up significant space in the engine bay for easier motor installation and maintenance.
Construction and Fitment
3-Piece Crossmember: The system features a specialized 3-piece crossmember designed for a straightforward installation process on the original Ford frame rails.
Modern Braking: Standardized with 11-inch rotors and 4-piston Wilwood calipers, providing high-performance stopping power that exceeds original factory capabilities.
Adjustable Dampening: Includes billet coil-over shocks and springs, allowing for fine-tuned control over the vehicle's ride stiffness and height.
Kit Includes:
Main Crossmember: High-strength 3-piece weld-in unit.
Control Arms: Tubular upper and lower arms with threaded adjusters.
Spindles: Your choice of Stock or 2-inch Dropped spindles for a lower profile.
Brakes: 11" rotors paired with Wilwood 4-piston calipers.
Steering: Your choice of a manual or power steering rack and pinion.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
