The Heidts Open Wheel Superide® II is the premier choice for fenderless 1932 Ford projects that demand a clean, uncluttered aesthetic. By utilizing an inboard shock configuration, this kit moves the suspension dampening components out of the direct line of sight, allowing the focus to remain on the swept-back control arms and the iconic 1932 Ford silhouette.
Engineering for Pinched Rails
Chassis Integration: This kit is specifically designed for frame rails pinched to approximately 20 inches wide at the axle centerline, matching the width of a standard '32 Ford grille shell.
Unique Control Arm Geometry: The swept-back tubular control arms feature front tubes that align with the axle center. These arms are longer than standard units to meet the narrowed frame rails, providing a wide, purposeful stance.
Ultra-Low Profile: This system is engineered to sit 1.25 inches lower than the standard Superide®, delivering an aggressive stance highly sought after in open-wheel builds.
Track Width: Features a 56-inch hub-to-hub flange width, providing a balanced look while maintaining proper geometry. Both Ford and Chevy bolt patterns are supported.
Premium Components
Exclusive Superide® Spindle: Features a proprietary one-piece spindle made from 1045 heat-treated alloy steel. Unlike adapted Mustang parts, this spindle is designed specifically for the Superide® geometry. (A Polished Stainless Steel spindle upgrade is also available).
Inboard Shock Configuration: The shocks are mounted internally to provide a smooth, streamlined look for the front end.
Wilwood Braking: All kits come standard with Wilwood polished aluminum 4-piston calipers for high-performance stopping power.
Finish Options: Control arms are available in mild steel or polished stainless steel. Shocks are available in plain or polished finishes, and all models include chrome springs.

Main Crossmember: Engineered for weld-in installation on pinched rails.
Control Arms: Long, swept-back tubular upper and lower arms.
Brakes: 11" rotors with Wilwood 4-piston calipers.
Steering: Manual rack and pinion.
Shocks & Springs: Coil-over units designed for inboard mounting.
Hardware: Complete hub-to-hub kit including all necessary bearings and seals.
Installation & Technical Notes
Advanced Fabrication: This kit is designed for experienced builders or professional shops. It requires significant frame modifications, including pinching the rails and C-notching the rails to provide clearance for the rack and pinion boots.
Cooling Requirements: Due to the crossmember and steering placement, a radiator with a custom lower tank is required for this application.
Optional Upgrades: For a show-quality finish, a polished aluminum hub option is available to complete the assembly.

With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
