The GM Metric Caliper Flexible Brake Hose Kit (Allstar Performance #ALL42025) is a professional-grade plumbing solution for connecting standard 3/16" hard brake lines to GM "Metric" style calipers. This kit is a favorite for circle track racers, street rodders, and off-roaders using the popular small GM calipers (typically found on 1978–88 intermediate GM chassis).
High-Performance Construction
Unlike standard rubber hoses that can expand under heavy braking pressure, these hoses provide a firm, consistent pedal feel:
Stainless Steel Braided: The 15" hoses feature a stainless steel outer braid that protects against abrasion and prevents hose expansion (volumetric expansion) under high pressure.
PTFE Lined: The inner core is made of high-quality PTFE, which is compatible with all standard brake fluids and provides a low-friction surface for maximum fluid response.
Zinc-Plated Steel Ends: The hose ends are manufactured from steel with a zinc oxide finish for long-lasting corrosion resistance.
Versatile Fitment & Sizing
This kit is specifically designed to bridge the gap between traditional automotive hard lines and modern AN performance fittings:
Metric Compatibility: The included banjo bolts feature 10mm x 1.50 threads, standard for GM Metric calipers.
Hard Line Interface: Includes adapters to transition from a 3/8"-24 inverted flare (standard 3/16" brake line) to a -3 AN male fitting.
Universal Use: While labeled for "GM Metric," the -3 AN female swivel ends on the 15" hoses make this kit adaptable for any application requiring -3 AN plumbing.

With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
