Designed to eliminate the unappealing look of messy raw holes and standard industrial rubber grommets, this custom-cast dress-up piece adds a distinctly nostalgic, traditional hot rod touch to any custom engine bay or smooth firewall project.
High-End Cast Styling & Construction
Concealed Multi-Piece Design: Features a beautifully sculpted, vintage-style finned aluminum cover that completely hides a protective internal alignment bushing, backing plate, and primary sealing rubber.
Compact Footprint Dimensions: Engineered with a highly space-efficient profile featuring a 2-7/8"Face diameter and a shallow 1-7/8" forward projection, making it perfect for crowded, high-density engine bays.
Heavy-Gauge Capacity: The interior channel and provided rubber protective grommet are engineered to comfortably route up to a thick 3/4" main wiring harness bundle or a combination of lines without pinching or binding.

The firewall port is available in two distinct styling formats to easily complement your project's overall aesthetic direction:
Polished Finish (Part # 6838): Mirror-polished to a brilliant, high-luster show finish across all outer surfaces.
Unpolished Finish (Part # 6839): Features a clean, authentic, raw sand-blasted casting appearance that looks perfectly correct on traditional 1940s- and 1950s-era builds.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
