The E-Z Inside Door Handle Installation Kit is a highly practical solution engineered to simplify the installation of interior door handles when retrofitting vehicles with modern rotary or bear-claw style safety latches. Standard aftermarket bear-claw latches often require precise mechanical cable or rod actuation that factory interior handles cannot operate cleanly on their own.
This dual-door installation kit acts as the missing mechanical link, adapting your chosen vintage handle style to a smooth, reliable modern latch system.
Integrated Return Spring Mechanism
Spring-Loaded Core: Every assembly in the kit is engineered with an internal, heavy-duty spring-loaded return mechanism.
Handle Self-Centering: The integrated spring automatically forces your interior door handle back to its original, neat, level resting position the moment you let go of the handle. This prevents sagging interior handles and stops internal latch mechanisms from binding or staying partially open while driving.
Versatile Handle Shank Options
To accommodate a massive range of classic cars, street rods, and custom trucks, this kit is offered across three distinct, industry-standard handle mounting configurations (selectable via the dropdown options):
Ford / Mopar Square Shank: Designed to fit vintage Ford and Chrysler/Mopar interior handles that mount onto a classic square profile shaft.
GM Pre-1948 Spline Shank: Engineered with the specific early-style splined configuration required to match original or reproduction General Motors interior handles used prior to 1948.
1948 & Up Ford / GM Spline Shank: Features the modern, universal splined shaft pattern utilized by both Ford and Chevrolet/GMC vehicles from 1948 onward.
Complete Two-Door Packaging
Full Left & Right Coverage: Each purchased kit contains all the core components needed to fully convert two doors (both the driver and passenger sides).

🛠️ Fabricator's Installation Note: When mocking up the mechanism behind your interior door panel upholstery, make sure the spring mechanism has adequate clearance from your window crank regulators and inner structural bracing. Ensure your actuation rods or release cables run straight and true from this kit to the bear-claw latch toggle for a smooth, binding-free pull.

Damages and Issues

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
