Description
The Dynamat 1/8" Dynaliner Thermal Barrier is a premium, ultra-lightweight synthetic insulation sheet engineered to be installed directly on top of Dynamat Xtreme sound deadening mats. While vibration dampers neutralize structural sheet metal noise, Dynaliner targets airborne acoustics and heavy thermal transfers. Featuring an ultra-thin 1/8-inch thickness, this material provides high-capacity thermal defense and acoustic isolation while serving as the ultimate solution for tight clearance zones where thicker foam barriers cannot fit behind factory door panels, compact headliners, and tight molded carpet sections.
Advanced Closed-Cell Foam Engineering
Cell Block Technology: Manufactured with proprietary Cell Block technology that completely locks out oil and moisture for long-lasting performance. Unlike traditional cotton jute padding or open-cell foams, it will not absorb water, eliminating the risk of hidden mold, mildew, or trapped moisture rusting out your panels.
Highest Single-Layer Heat Blocking: Provides the highest thermal insulation properties available in a single-layer synthetic foam format, helping to dramatically reduce cabin temperatures near hot exhaust tunnels, roofs, and firewalls.
Crush & Tear Resistance: Engineered as a highly durable, ultra-lightweight material that resists crushing, tearing, and mechanical wear over thousands of miles of driving.
Acoustic Decoupling: Works as an exceptional decoupling layer that traps and dissipates high-frequency airborne sounds, such as tire whine, wind rush, and mechanical engine thrash, providing excellent acoustic isolation.
Ultra-Thin & Versatile 12 Sq. Ft. Sheet Real Estate
This package includes a single 1/8-inch thick utility sheet providing a total of 12 square feet of coverage. It is perfectly portioned to tackle major problematic thermal and acoustic boundaries without adding bulk:
Door Panels & Quarter Panels: Fits effortlessly inside hollow inner door cavities and tight door skins to isolate road noise and tire hum while acting as a weather-resistant barrier.
The Cabin Floor & Firewall: Blocks extreme radiant engine heat and transmission bellhousing warmth from soaking into footwells without interfering with accelerator pedal travel, wiring harness paths, or strict carpet fitment.
The Roof Line: Stops overhead solar heat from baking the vehicle interior while dramatically reducing the sound of heavy rain hitting the roof skin—even beneath tight bows or modern snap-in headliner assemblies.
Under-Hood Liner: Mounts securely to the underside of the hood panel to protect external paint from engine heat blisters while deadening forward mechanical noise.
