The 1949–1950 Chevy Car Direct-Fit Gauge Package by Classic Instruments integrates a complete 6-gauge instrument panel into a single, direct-fit unit designed specifically for the factory dashboard of 1949–1950 Chevrolet passenger cars. Combining a speedometer, tachometer, fuel gauge, oil pressure gauge, temperature gauge, and voltmeter, this all-electronic cluster modernizes classic dash operation while preserving the interior's original aesthetic.
Built with Classic Instruments' proprietary Zeus Speedometer Technology™ (ZST™) and a molded plastic rear housing, the cluster accepts direct signals from modern ECMs or Vehicle Speed Sensors (VSS) without needing external signal converter boxes.
Key Features & Design Highlights
Direct Dash Mounting: Mounts directly into stock dashboard openings using factory holes, supplied mounting hardware, and a paint-to-match adapter ring for a seamless fit.
Integrated LED Lighting & Dimmer: Features crisp LED backlighting enhanced by a molded light intensifier ring. Includes a built-in potentiometer on the rear housing for fine-tuning brightness.
Stealth Indicators: Built-in green LED turn signal indicators on the left and right, along with a hidden red LED Halo™ high-beam indicator at the top of the tachometer dial.
Zeus Speedometer Technology™ (ZST™): Push-button speed calibration via the included SNPB switch. Includes a built-in ECM signal filter switch for clean data processing.
Selectable Fuel Ohm Range: Built-in DIP switches allow simple pairing with factory GM fuel senders (0–30 ohm for pre-1965 GM) or popular aftermarket fuel senders (e.g., 0–90 ohm GM, 75–10 ohm Ford).
Complete Sender Pack: Includes the standard SNGM GM sender kit covering engine temperature, oil pressure, fuel level, and speed sensing.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
