Description
The Brake Line Adapters are the essential link for transitioning from rigid hard lines to flexible braided hoses. These bulkhead-style fittings provide a secure, professional mounting point on your chassis, ensuring your brake plumbing is both organized and safe.
Key Features & Functionality
Hybrid Connection: These adapters feature a -3 AN male connection on one side (for braided hoses) and a 3/16" Inverted Flare female connection on the other (for standard automotive hard lines).
Bulkhead Design: Specifically designed to be mounted through a bracket or frame tab. The body of the fitting features a machined groove that locks into place, creating a permanent transition point that prevents the lines from rubbing or moving.
Standard Fitment: These fittings are designed to fit perfectly into a 5/8" mounting hole, making them fully compatible with standard weld-on or bolt-on brake tabs.
Specifications
Quantity: 2-Pack.
Material: High-strength steel with a corrosion-resistant finish, providing the durability needed for high-pressure hydraulic systems.
Mounting Requirements: Requires a 5/8" hole and a standard Brake Line Clip (E-clip) to secure the fitting to the mounting surface.
Professional Plumbing Tip
When plumbing your chassis, use these adapters at every point where a moving suspension component requires a flex hose (such as at the front frame horns or the rear axle). By using a bulkhead adapter rather than a floating union, you prevent the hard lines from fatiguing and cracking due to chassis vibration.
