Cylinder Head Accessory Hole Thread Size: On some early BBC cylinder heads, the accessory mounting holes are threaded for 7/16"-14 bolts. If your cylinder heads feature 7/16" holes, you must install a 3/8"-16 Helicoil thread insert (commonly available at auto parts stores) to adapt down to the bracket's standard 3/8" hardware.
Crankshaft Pulley Verification: Ensure your crankshaft pulley matches standard Long Water Pump offset dimensions to maintain proper belt tracking.
