The Heidts Universal Superide® II IFS Kit with a 60-inch track width is an engineered independent suspension solution for wider custom builds and larger classic vehicles. This kit allows builders to integrate modern handling, adjustable ride height, and high-performance braking into non-standard or custom-fabricated chassis where a vehicle-specific kit is not available.
Chassis Fitment & Dimensions
Track Width: Features a 60-inch hub-to-hub flange width, making it an ideal choice for wider classic trucks, large luxury cruisers, and broad custom street rods.
Frame Compatibility: Specifically designed to fit frames with a 26-inch inside rail dimension and a 35-inch outside rail dimension.
Universal Versatility: This kit is perfect for builders fabricating a unique chassis or modifying a vintage frame that doesn't follow standard dimensions, providing a professional-grade foundation for custom projects.
Performance and Ride Control
Adjustable Stance: The kit includes your choice of standard or 2-inch dropped spindles, allowing you to achieve a low, aggressive profile while maintaining proper suspension travel.
Coil-Over Technology: Equipped with adjustable billet coil-over shocks and springs. This allows you to fine-tune the ride stiffness and ride height to perfectly match the final weight of your vehicle.
Superior Braking: Comes standard with high-performance 11-inch rotors and 4-piston Wilwood calipers, providing modern stopping power for heavier or faster custom builds.
Stability: A sway bar is included as standard equipment to control body roll, ensuring the vehicle stays flat and stable through corners.

Control Arms: High-strength tubular upper and lower A-arms for a clean, professional look.
Spindles: Choice of Stock or 2-inch Dropped spindles.
Brakes: 11" rotors with 4-piston Wilwood calipers.
Steering: Choice of a manual or power steering rack and pinion.
Suspension: Adjustable billet coil-over shocks and matched springs.
Stabilizer: Front sway bar with all necessary bushings and end links.
Complete Hardware: Ships hub-to-hub with all necessary bearings, seals, and mounting hardware.
Installation & Technical Notes
Custom Fabrication: As a universal weld-in system, professional installation is required. The crossmember must be carefully centered, squared, and leveled within the custom frame to ensure proper wheel alignment.
Alignment Stability: Like other Superide II systems, this kit is designed with geometry that provides built-in anti-dive and zero bumpsteer for a smooth, modern driving experience.
Clearance Checks: Builders should verify engine oil pan, exhaust header, and radiator clearance relative to the front-mount rack and pinion before final welding of the crossmember.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
