Description
Enhance the braking safety of your classic 1940-1954 Chevy passenger car with this Dual Reservoir Master Cylinder Conversion Kit. While a single-reservoir system may function adequately, converting to a dual reservoir is the safe route, as it ensures you maintain braking capability even if a leak develops in one part of your system.
Enhanced Safety & Performance
A dual reservoir master cylinder provides a crucial safety net. By hydraulically separating the front and rear brake circuits, a failure in one circuit will not result in a total loss of brakes.
Vehicle-Specific Fitment: This kit is designed as a complete bolt-in conversion specifically for 1940-1954 Chevy passenger cars equipped with the Original Equipment (OE) Automatic Transmission.
Complete Bolt-In Kit: This all-in-one package includes all the necessary components for a simple, straightforward conversion.
1-Inch Bore Master Cylinder: Provides a new, reliable dual-reservoir system for enhanced safety and consistent performance.
Precision Plumbing Details: The included master cylinder features a 1-inch bore and clearly defined port sizes: the Front Port is 1/2"-20 and the Rear Port is 3/8"-24.
Adjustable Push Rod: The included adjustable push rod kit with a heim joint allows for precise setup, ensuring optimal brake pedal feel.
What's Included in the Kit:
Fabricated Steel Mounting Bracket
1 inch Bore Dual Reservoir Master Cylinder
Adjustable Push Rod Kit with Heim Joint
