The Powermaster 250 Amp HPR Alternator is the premier high-output charging solution for 2011–2017 Ford Mustang GT (5.0L Coyote) and GT350 (5.2L Voodoo) models. Engineered to replace the lower-amperage factory units, this alternator is designed for vehicles with heavy electrical demands, such as high-wattage audio systems, advanced lighting, or performance electronics.

The HPR (High Performance Replacement) series is specifically tuned to provide massive power at both high speeds and stop-and-go traffic:
Peak Power: Delivers a massive 250+ Amps at top-end RPMs to handle full electrical loads.
Idle Performance: Unlike many high-output alternators that drop off at low speeds, this unit provides an industry-leading 180 to 195 Amps at idle.
Hairpin Technology: Utilizes an advanced Hairpin stator design, which increases wire density and surface area for maximum electrical efficiency and cooling.

Powermaster ensures that adding more power doesn't compromise the drivability or longevity of your Mustang:
Clutch Pulley Included: Features a 2.62" OD, 6-groove serpentine clutch pulley. This retains the original equipment (OE) functionality, allowing the alternator to "freewheel" during sudden engine deceleration, which protects the accessory belt and tensioner.
OEM Integration: Designed as a direct "OE Hookup" replacement. It features the correct rear regulator plug and side battery post configuration for a seamless, plug-and-play installation into the factory harness.
Internal Regulation: Includes a built-in internal regulator, ensuring stable voltage across the entire RPM range.

Individually Dyno Tested: Every Powermaster alternator is tested on a dynamometer before leaving the factory. You receive a Proof of Performance guarantee (the actual test results for your specific unit) inside the box.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
