The 1982–1985 Chevy S-10 & GMC S-15 Dakota Digital VHX Gauge System transforms the early S-Series dash with modern micro-controlled precision and pro-touring styling. Designed as a direct drop-in replacement, this full 6-gauge system installs into your truck's factory dash location inside the OEM or reproduction instrument bezel.
Constructed with a CNC-machined billet aluminum rear housing and optical-grade polycarbonate lenses, the VHX series pairs classic analog sweeping hands with dual, highly readable digital LCD message centers for real-time performance tracking and engine telemetry.

🛠️ Installation & Fitment Notes:
Bezel Notice: The factory dash bezel is not included; this system is designed to reuse your stock original or an aftermarket reproduction dash bezel.
Gear Position Display: Displaying automatic transmission gear selection (PRNDL) on the LCD screen requires the optional Dakota Digital DAK GSS-3000 gear position sensor (purchased separately).

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
