The Heidts 4-Link Rear Suspension Kit for the 1974–1981 Chevy Camaro is a comprehensive bolt-on performance system engineered to replace the outdated factory leaf springs. Designed to lower the vehicle 3 to 4 inches, this kit provides the aggressive stance and precise axle control required for modern Pro-Touring builds.
Performance and Adjustability
Superior Traction: By utilizing a 4-bar design, this system eliminates "spring wrap" and wheel hop, ensuring maximum power delivery to the pavement during hard launches.
Precision Tuning: The kit features adjustable 4-link mounts, allowing you to fine-tune the suspension’s "instant center." This adjustability lets you dial in the car's reaction to acceleration and cornering loads.
Lateral Control: A high-strength panhard bar keeps the rear axle perfectly centered under the chassis, providing predictable handling and stability during high-speed maneuvers.
Coil-Over Control: Standard with adjustable billet coil-over shocks, this setup allows for easy ride-height adjustments and custom-tailored dampening for either street comfort or track performance.
Engineering and Integration
Bolt-On Installation: Specifically engineered for the later Second-Gen F-body floor pan, this kit requires no cutting or floor modifications. It integrates into the existing structure to maintain the vehicle's integrity.
Chassis Rigidity: Includes a full upper coil-over crossmember that spans the rear frame rails, creating a significantly stronger mounting point for the suspension and stiffening the rear of the car.
Track Width: Set at a 58.5-inch track width, offering ideal fitment for a wide variety of modern performance wheel and tire combinations.
Kit Includes:
Four Link Bars: Adjustable links available in Plain or Polished finishes.
Upper Crossmember: Full bolt-in upper coil-over mounting crossmember.
Panhard Bar: Lateral stabilization bar with all necessary brackets.
Suspension: Adjustable billet coil-over shocks (Black, Plain, or Polished) and 10" performance springs.
Mounting Brackets: Complete set of bolt-in chassis and axle brackets.
Available Options:
To build a complete high-performance rear end, the following upgrades are available:
Complete Rear End: Optional axle housings with pre-installed brackets, high-strength axles, and Positraction gear sets.
Chassis Strengthening:Subframe Connectors and a Drive Shaft Hoop (Note: Subframe connectors are required for the hoop).
Handling & Braking: Optional rear sway bar and performance disc brake packages.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
