The Heidts Pro-G® Independent Front Suspension (IFS) for the 1968-70 Dodge Charger is a high-performance replacement for the factory torsion bar suspension. This system is engineered to provide modern, supercar-level handling and precision steering for the iconic Mopar.
Performance and Advanced Geometry
Extreme Alignment Adjustability: Features adjustable tubular upper control arms equipped with heim ends. This design allows for professional track tuning, capable of reaching up to 15 degrees of caster and -4 degrees of camber, ensuring maximum tire contact during aggressive cornering.
Modern Steering Dynamics: The system provides 30 degrees of steering angle, significantly improving the car's maneuverability and turn-in response compared to the original steering box setup.
Heavy-Duty Components: Standardized with Pro-G® heavy-duty spindles, designed to withstand the high lateral loads generated by modern performance tires on a road course or autocross circuit.
Precision Dampening: Equipped with Heidts adjustable coil-over shocks and springs, allowing the driver to fine-tune both the ride height and the valving for specific track conditions or street comfort.
Engineering and Integration
Torsion Bar Elimination: By converting to a coil-over IFS, this kit eliminates the bulky factory torsion bars. This opens up significant room in the engine bay and under the chassis for larger headers and modern engine swaps, such as Gen III Hemis.
Roll Control: The kit offers versatility in stabilization with both splined or bent sway bar options available to suit your specific performance needs and packaging requirements.
Braking Excellence: Integrated with Wilwood brake kits, providing the high-thermal capacity and stopping power required for a high-horsepower Pro-Touring build.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
