he Dakota Digital RTX Gauge System for the 1963–1964 Chevy Impala, Bel Air, and Biscayne is the ultimate "stealth" interior upgrade. While it perfectly mimics the iconic horizontal layout of the factory 1963 cluster at a glance, it is a fully electronic powerhouse capable of interfacing with everything from an original 283 V8 to a modern twin-turbo LS swap.
"Jet Smooth" Heritage Styling
The RTX series is designed for the enthusiast who wants the original 1963 aesthetic without the limitations of 60-year-old mechanical gauges:
OEM Design Language: Every detail, from the face styling to the indicator icons, is engineered to incorporate original design elements.
Direct Integration: This system is designed to fit directly into your stock steel front bezel (not included), preserving the authentic dash architecture of your B-body.
LED Transformation: While it looks stock during the day, the flip of a switch activates full RGB LED backlighting. You can choose from over 30 colors or 12 factory-preset themes to match your interior.
Comprehensive Gauge Suite
The RTX system provides a massive increase in data over the factory "idiot lights":
Analog Sweeps: 120 MPH Speedometer, 8,000 RPM Tachometer, Oil Pressure (0–80 psi), Water Temperature (100–260ºF), Fuel Level, and Voltmeter.
TFT Message Centers: High-definition digital screens provide an odometer, dual trip meters, a clock, and estimated miles to empty.
Performance Tracking: Built-in timers for 0–60 MPH, 1/4 and 1/8 mile ET/trap speed, plus high-speed and high-RPM recall.
Modern Indicators & Safety
The cluster integrates several "hidden" indicators that only appear when active:
Turn signals, High Beam, Check Engine, and Parking Brake.
Advanced Options: Cruise Control status, 4x4, and "Wait to Start" (for diesel swaps).
Gear Position: Can display your current gear for automatic transmissions (requires the optional GSS-3000 sensor).
Warning LEDs: Each analog sweep (except the speedometer) features a hidden red LED that illuminates during a warning condition.
Installation & Calibration
Central Control Box: All sensors and power wires run to a single compact box hidden behind the dash, which then connects to the gauges with a single data cable.
Bluetooth Integration: The entire system—including speedometer calibration and color selection—can be configured via the Dakota Digital mobile app for Android and Apple devices.
Included Sensors: The kit comes complete with solid-state oil pressure and water temperature sensors, as well as a speed sensor.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.
Exceptions / Non-Returnable Items

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
