Our EPAS system is smart. It senses how much effort you're putting into the steering wheel and then, with the help of the electric motor, amplifies that effort. But here's the best part: an adjustable knob lets you customize the level of assistance. Want maximum help for tight parking spots? Dial it up! Prefer a firmer feel on the highway? Dial it down! The system is only active when you're actually turning, making it super efficient.
Important Details & Compatibility:
THIS KIT WILL NOT WORK WITH A OE COLUMN SHIFT STEERING COLUMN - FLOOR SHIFT ONLY.
Low Power Draw: It sips power, only drawing a minimal 9 amps.
Installation Time: Plan for about 10 hours of installation, and yes, some cutting is involved.
Rack or Steering Box: This versatile kit works with either a steering rack or your original steering box.
Got a Steering Rack? Listen Up! If your Nova has a steering rack, please contact EPAS Performance before ordering. We'll need to know the size of the shaft that runs from your rack to the firewall to make sure the kit fits perfectly.
Linkages Not Included: Keep in mind that any extra linkages you might need to connect to a steering rack aren't part of this kit and will need to be purchased separately.
What's NOT Included: Your steering wheel and column aren't part of this package.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
