Eliminate one of the most complex design flaws of the classic Continental with the Clean Wipe Wiper Drive. This kit allows you to completely remove the failure-prone stock hydraulic wiper motor and replace it with a reliable, heavy-duty 12-volt electric motor.
By converting to electric, you can remove the messy hydraulic power steering hoses associated with the original system, cleaning up the engine bay and making much-needed room for modern engine swaps.

Hydraulic-to-Electric Conversion: Replaces the original hydraulic motor with a powerful 2-speed, self-parking 12-volt motor.
Space-Efficient Design: Engineered to fit within the original cavity behind the engine. It protrudes only slightly further forward than the stock unit and requires only a minor reshaping of the stock linkage rod end for installation.
Direct Bolt-In: Attaches to the stock mounting brackets and interfaces with the OEM wiper transmission or cable drums.
Clearance Maintained: Designed to clear the stock cowl vent and factory A/C systems.

Installation and Customization Notes:
Switch Mounting: Because the original slide switch was unique to the hydraulic system and cannot be reused, the new rotary switch must be relocated in the dash. We recommend leaving the original switch in place for aesthetics.
Optional Shaft Extension: If mounting the new switch in a crowded area behind the dash, a shaft extension can be added to push the switch body further back for better clearance.
Available Upgrades: You can choose to upgrade the standard kit to a 2-speed washer switch or an intermittent delay switch (only one switch is provided per kit based on your selection).

This system includes a 3-year warranty, ensuring your Lincoln is ready for any weather.

Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
