It’s here! Finally a true bolt-in replacement for your 1960 Chevrolet Cars. The Clean Wipe Wiper Drive for the 60 Chevy is a high tech motor replacement for the O.E.M. electric motor. We use an extremely heavy duty factory tested 2-speed motor that is smaller than the original, giving you more room for that big block or aftermarket ignition system. The kit mounts in the factory mounting position, hooks up to the original linkage and transmissions, and comes with all the mounting hardware. **If you are wanting to mount our switch in the stock location in the dash and use the stock knob and bezel we do recommend the use of the switch shaft extension to help in this process.**
With the 1960 Chevy cars there is a “Late” and “Early” design for the wipers. The easiest way to differentiate the two is to view the linkage where it attaches to the motor. If you have an Early 60 the 2 linkage rods stack one on top of the other on a single drive pin. In this case you will need to purchase NE5900CP for a 1959 Chevy car. With the Late 60 the 2 linkage rods are separated with a “Link Bar” and they will not touch each other as they mount on separate drive pins. In this case you will purchase this product or NE6000CP.
