The RideTech Complete Air Suspension System for 1959–1964 Chevy B-Body (Impala, Bel Air, Biscayne, El Camino, Wagon) is a total chassis overhaul package engineered to deliver an ultra-low show stance while drastically improving handling, steering response, and highway ride quality over the floaty factory X-frame suspension.

• Front StrongArms (Upper & Lower):

  • Upper Control Arms: Feature corrected ball joint angles and built-in additional positive caster to eliminate high-speed wander and improve modern radial tire tracking.

  • Lower Control Arms: Built with double-shear lower shock mounts for high structural rigidity and pre-installed Delrin bushings for bind-free suspension travel.

• Rear Suspension Linkage: Includes heavy-duty tubular lower trailing arms with integrated air spring mounting plates, an adjustable panhard bar to center the rear axle at low ride heights, and high-articulation R-Joint rod ends to prevent roll-bind.

• Front & Rear MuscleBars: Thick performance sway bars with Delrin-lined frame bushings and spherical end links replace tiny (or non-existent) factory sway bars to flatline cornering body roll.

• HQ Series Monotube Shocks: Single-adjustable aluminum body shocks featuring a 24-position rebound dampening knob and RideTech’s 1,000,000-Mile Warranty. Relocates front shocks behind the lower control arms for clean air spring operation.

Critical Fitment & Installation Notes

• Spindle Requirement: Must be installed using original 1959–1964 OEM factory front spindles.

• Disc Brake Conversion Clearance: If installing aftermarket front disc brakes, the caliper mounting brackets must mount to the outside face of the spindle flange.

• Factory Power Steering Assist: Vehicles utilizing original factory control-valve/cylinder power steering require an additional slave cylinder adapter bracket (Part # 11059121).

• Dual Upper Control Arm Cars: Certain 1959–1964 B-bodies were factory equipped with two upper rear control arms instead of one; these models require a second upper StrongArm (Part # 11066698).

• Air Compressor System: Requires an onboard air compressor system (e.g., RideTech RidePro E5 or AirLift Performance management) to operate air springs.
