The Dakota Digital RTX Series Analog Dash Clock (Part # RLC-57C-X) is the definitive way to complete your passenger-side dashboard transformation if you are running the matching RTX main gauge network in a 1957 Chevrolet car. Engineered to mirror the exact styling cues, finish, and lighting architecture of the primary instrument cluster, this clock cleanly replaces your factory original timepiece to give your classic Tri-Five cabin a flawless finish.
Seamless Architectural Integration
Authentic Face Profile: Features the classic 12-hour analog configuration with an illuminated hour and minute hand over vintage-correct hash marks. When the car's ignition is turned off, the face layout presents a completely original, unmodified appearance.
Flawless Mount Design: Engineered with a custom, chrome-machined aluminum bezel that perfectly follows the stock 1957 dashboard contours. It slides into your factory original or reproduction passenger-side clock bezel location from the front and locks firmly into place using the provided clamping hardware. (Note: Decorative outer dash housing trim panels are not included).
Synced Lighting Technology
Once tied to the central data backbone, the clock functions as a seamless visual extension of your main cluster instrumentation:
Full RGB Backlighting: Enjoy full color synchronization. The clock automatically shares color layouts with the primary setup, allowing you to cycle through over 30 user-selectable color options and 12 factory preset themes for independent face and needle color tuning.
Headlight Dimming Link: Connects directly into the RTX central control network. Both daytime and nighttime brightness levels are shared across the dash, automatically dimming the clock face whenever you toggle your factory headlight switch.
Critical System Requirements
⚠️ Important Integration Note: The Dakota Digital RLC-57C-X Clock is strictly a companion component and cannot be operated as a standalone gauge. It contains no independent internal processors and relies completely on being connected directly to the main Dakota Digital RTX-57C-X instrument system control box via the included interconnect harness. It will not work as a standalone clock, nor is it compatible with VFD3, VHX, or HDX systems.

We offer a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days from the date you receive your item to request a return.
Eligibility for Returns
To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.

To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
