Upgrade your classic Ford’s steering performance with this modern Borgeson Power Steering Conversion Box, designed specifically for 1952-1964 full-size Ford cars and compatible Mercury models. This new gearbox delivers a quicker, more responsive steering feel while maintaining a clean, factory-style installation.

Direct Fitment: Designed to fit 1952-1964 full-size Ford cars and Mercury vehicles sharing the same platform.
Installation Notes: Steering column modifications are required. Will not fit vehicles with a 3-speed column shift manual transmission. Refer to product instructions for details.
USA Built: All Borgeson power steering boxes are assembled and tested in the USA from globally sourced components and include a 3-year warranty.

Input Shaft: 11/16"-36 spline
Pitman Shaft: 1-1/8" Ford with 32 splines and 4 master splines
Pressure Port: 16mm x 1.5 flare (located closest to engine)
Return Port: 16mm x 1.5 flare (located closest to input shaft)
Maximum Pressure: 1450 PSI, with an optimal range of 1100-1250 PSI
Fit great with only modification was to shorter aftermarket steerin column. Used Borgeson steering joint. Making up new lines for same (using MODERN Ford steering pump on 5.0L H.O. motor.) So not able to use made up lines.

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:
In the same condition as received
Unworn or unused
With original tags attached
In its original packaging
You must also provide a receipt or proof of purchase.
How to Start a Return
To initiate a return, please contact us at jonathon@hotrodhardware.com. Once your return request is approved, you will be provided with the return address and, if applicable, an RMA (Return Merchandise Authorization) number.
Important: Items sent back without prior authorization will not be accepted.

Damages and Issues
Please inspect your order upon delivery. If your item is defective, damaged, or if you received the wrong item, contact us immediately so we can evaluate the issue and resolve it promptly.

Exchanges
The fastest way to receive a replacement item is to return your original item (once approved) and place a new order separately.
Free Shipping Orders
Orders that qualified for free shipping are subject to deduction of the original outbound shipping cost if the item is returned.
Refunds
Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you regarding the approval status of your refund.
If approved:
Refunds will be issued to your original payment method
Any applicable restocking fees will be deducted
Original shipping charges (if applicable) will be deducted
Return shipping costs (if arranged by Hot Rod Hardware) will be deducted
