How It Works:
The EPAS system uses a computer to measure the effort applied to the steering wheel, then amplifies it with the help of an electric motor. The included adjustable potentiometer allows you to customize the level of assist — offering maximum support for parking and tight maneuvers, while reducing assist for a firmer, more controlled feel at highway speeds. The system engages only while steering, ensuring efficiency and consistent road feel.
